On August 15, California Pizza Kitchen is celebrating National Pizza Day!
And what better way to celebrate it -- by giving a free pizza for every pizza ordered! That's twice the pizza goodness! (I am not a big fan of pizza but I love CPK's pizza variant, especially the chicken and seafood ones). :D Plus, refillable Coke for only Php50 to pair with your pizza! This is only valid on the 15th of August (and sorry, for dine-in only) so you better get yer pizza senses ready.
Last July 25, we were invited to the Media Launch of California Pizza Kitchen's National Pizza Day and were filled to our brims with a feast of their new dishes that are "100% Filipino-made and conceptualized" (and yes, they are only available in the PHL).
We were joined by CPK's CEO Mr. Griffith Go and talked to us about the history of California Pizza Kitchen, celebrating National Pizza Day, the CPK experience, pizza, food and well, more pizza. He was really nice! But honestly, being in a table with them high-profiled people, I felt a little squeamish. Well, D felt a little more than squeamish. :P

I love these two pasta dishes!! Seafood will always have a space in my heart (and literally in my stomach) and their lasagna was superb! Meaty and cheesy!

Asian Chicken Wrap
Their new other dishes are: Spinach Salad with Gorgonzola, Cheese Steak Sandwich, Fruit Sangria and S'mores Pizza! Yes! S'mores!! I wasn't able to try it but I will come back for it!

Yes, we all approve of CPK's National Pizza Day!
All I can say is that I was so full afterwards. There was no more room for more food and I haven't even tried them all. So that means I will be going back to CPK on National Pizza Day to try the other dishes and of course, pizza (it's National Pizza Day after all)!!
